Welcome to Spectrum Autism Therapy and Consultation, a service delivering play-based therapy to young children with autism spectrum disorder or global developmental delay. Spectrum aims to assist children and their families through a variety of challenges that may develop alongside a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, providing individualised solutions and ongoing support.
Meet Charlotte Dunn, Senior Therapist and Founder of Spectrum Autism Therapy and Consultation. Charlotte has attained a Master in Autism, Certification in Early Start Denver Model behavioural therapy and a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary) and is excited to bring her expertise, enthusiasm and gentle nature to her home town of Wagga Wagga and the Riverina. Having been born and raised here, Charlotte spent her childhood and adolescence playing sport, dancing and enjoying weekends surrounded by family. She understands the importance of positive relationships for a child’s development and is excited to create a supportive community for families accessing her services.
Charlotte is dedicated to utilising the latest research to create individualised programs, with the child’s best interests at the forefront of her practice. These programs are custom designed to be most effective for the individual child’s development while allowing them to have fun throughout their play therapy experience. Charlotte believes in inclusion and equal participation for people with autism, and through advocacy and education knows this can be achieved.
